I know, it should have been named something like "qwm". But on my keyboard the key "Q" is - for obvious reasons - slightly worn down. So I chose the next letter in the alphabet, which happens to occur in my initials twice.
wm - you guessed it, didn't you? - stands for window manager.
You will find a ready to use tarball at the Download page. Make sure you are able to compile a simple Qt program, then you hopefully will not face any problems compiling and installing Rwm.
If you carefully follow the instructions, that is.
Of course you can. Rwm doesn't interfere with the styles that Qt uses. The window decorations however will be different, they are in fact less baroque. On the other hand this leaves you with more screen real estate to run your programs.
If you are on a Debian system, you will have full access to the Debian menus. Debian updates Rwm's menu xml file everytime the menus are updated. You may even add additional entries to the menu. These must not necessarily be Debian related.
Thank you.
