While creating the first parts of docs for the rwm - the window manager project, I realized the lack of a decent screenshot utility. Of course there is ksnapshot, but you have to wait for an eternity until it finally loads and starts to be usable. One of the reasons I create rwm - the window manager is to avoid overheads like the ones found in KDE: While that may be useful for Microsoft dissenters, it is useless to me.
With the need to create many ( even partial ) screenshots I decided to create my own weapon to do the shooting.
